In the entrance hall of mother Hanka, there was everything bad. The carpet on the floor, dark nut décor of wardrobes, almost all the doors were not the same, a bad painting, a bad lightening – that was from the beginning a visual problem. The style of this change was clear from the beginning: to create men´s modern interior which says “here lives a man” for Honza and to create comfortable, light and cosy hall for both of them.
Honza has in his room black, white and grey colors. There are special boards on the table and tables by the sofa. Inside the built-in wall, there are wardrobes, a bookcase, a radio and there is also a built-in fridge. The TV is hanged on furniture wall. Behind the furniture wall, there are all cables. Under the table, there is a drawer container and opened shelves for electric devices which Honza uses very often. We chose white leather for wardrobe lugs. We harmonized both rooms with the same floor. We laid there a vinyl floor in the décor of natural oak. We chose this floor because of Honza´s wheelchair. We also chose oak doors with black handles, but Honza has white doors because his room is an individual unit within their common flat – the whole change was about it – to create an individual and adult living for Honza and give him more privacy that he needs and his mother did not want to respect it before our change.
