In August 2017 we got a task to design future offices with an area of 233 square meters for an accounting company, which needed to move into a larger space.
We were excited about this contract. We had a possibility to work with the future space since it was a fabric and we got an opportunity to create all the basic components, e.g. floors, doors, partitions, toilet facilities and so on.
A great challenge for us was traditionally the layout. The original project expected a different layout of offices, but it was completely unsuitable.
We added a toilet, created a day room for employees and there was an obvious division of the space. The front part became a part for clients and the back part was for employees.
In the front part, there are reception, toilets, offices of management, meeting rooms and this front part is light. On the contrary, the back part is dark.
We did not change the layout of the corridor, but we optically worked with it. We wanted to break its length. Division of floor, painting and color of door helped us.
We wanted to get more of natural light to the corridor and we also wanted to connect individual offices – so we created glazed partitions and next to them, we put full doors.
Our target was to design a nice and attractive working space that will adequately represent the company.
