4kk Troja
The project in Troja started in 2020 and ended in May 2024 with a one-year break.
The task was to renovate the entire apartment, except for the office and the children's room.
For financial and pragmatic reasons, we kept the oak wooden floor, which was then matched with the shades of woods and laminate.
The biggest change was the small bathroom at the entrance, which we expanded with a washing machine and dryer, we created from the original "toilet with shower" a bathroom with a shower and a normal sink.
In the children's room and the bedroom, we adjusted the position of the doors, which allowed us to fit a classic 60cm wardrobe in both rooms, which was not possible before.
The kitchen went through a big layout change as well, we maximized the working area compared to the original state. We removed an island that the clients didn't need and placed an oval dining table and chairs in the centre of all the space.
In the hallway, we demolished unnecessary partitions, allowing us to make the most of the entire hallway space for storage.
From the start, the clients loved our combination of grey contrasting with the wood. We complemented it with white and black contrasts.
The apartment in Troja went through a big aesthetic change. The whole place has become lighter, has a unified concept and visually breathes more.
All the furniture and shower screens are made to measure. The profiled panels are lacquered, the other cabinets are in laminate.
The worktop in the kitchen is Corian and certain areas in the bathroom are in compact for durability.
The flush doors are also in lacquer, with black magnetic locks and detailing.
There are 2 types of concrete walls in the apartment. The smooth varnished helped us a lot with the wall solution in the kitchen, complementing the clean lines of the kitchen.
The better designed shading also helped a lot here compared to the original condition. It always makes every interior cosier and visually more compact in some way.
The fresh collection of the P.O.V. dining table from Ton fit perfectly into our apartment. It forms a beautiful dominating feature of the whole central part of the kitchen and together with the Again chairs it created a beautiful view of the whole space.
